I first began making websites in late 1996, when the web was grey and all links were blue, red or purple, depending on whether or not you'd clicked the link. I designed and maintained several departmental sites, as well as designing a few small print projects, at the University of Notre Dame before moving on to FurnitureFind.com in 2004.

In my tenure at FurnitureFind, under the tutelage of some excellent designers, I continued with web design, including Flash banners and small interactive pieces. I also further explored design theory and created more print design pieces - POP signage, tent cards, brochures and other materials. During the same time, I also began re-connecting with my early interest in comics and cartooning.
